Testing (Click Here for Testing Questionnaire)
Aluminum powder – We successfully tested aluminum powder screening at 37 micron separation. Existing customer equipment could not even make separation. Kroosh SXE 650 processed over 100 lbs./hr.
Plastic beads – Minox tumbler screener with air knife cleaning used to remove long spears created from chopping pellets and air knife removes fines to low ppm levels in one pass processing.
Kaolin Slurry - The Kroosh ULS 1.5 x 0.6 rectangular unit processed kaolin slurry at 37 micron and 44 micron separations. Various grades of kaolin slurries were tested. The performance of the Kroosh was 3 to 10 times the throughput of vibratory machines with comparable screen areas. There was no blinding of the Kroosh screen.
Glass flake – Kroosh ULS 1.5 x 0.6 unit used to make 20 micron separation.
Polymer beads - Minox motion and brush cleaning used to efficiently separate feed polymer into several cuts that are 15 micron ranges.
Lab Scale Polymer beads – Minox MLS 200 jet sieve with cyclone used to make separations 74 and 44 microns for lab testing. Results much faster and more accurate than ro-tap testing.
Metal Powder – Kroosh systems tested on iron, titanium, tungsten, molybdenum, stainless steel, and zinc powders. In all cases, the energy of Kroosh system offers much greater efficiency, higher throughputs, and capabilities to process finer than any other screening systems.
Silica Sand – Kroosh systems proven to offer higher throughputs, efficiencies and low operational costs compared to vibratory systems.
